This year, it has become easier to issue and extend the payment for the birth of the first child, and its size has increased significantly. Currently, a monthly allowance of up to three years in the amount of thousand 665 rubles is received by 3 925 families in which the first-born were born. Previously, the allowance amounted to 032 rubles. This was reported in the department of labor and social protection of the population of Sevastopol.

Since 2022 the procedure for processing the payment has changed and now applicants are not required to independently provide information on family income during the initial application, or when it is necessary to extend it.
