A major overhaul of police strongholds is being carried out in Simferopol with the aim of “eliminating deficiencies in terms of equipping municipal property with engineering and technical means of fortification and technical means of protecting municipal property» The head of the administration of the Crimean capital, Mikhail Afanasyev, spoke about this. According to him, a total of 6 contracts have been signed providing for the overhaul of 18 police strongholds.
Major repairs at each address include the following activities:
— To equip the facility with means of strengthening and security, namely: installation of bars on windows with armored film, installation of an entrance fire door, installation of an alarm button.
— For interior finishing work: repair of floors, ceilings, replacement of interior doors, replacement of heating radiators, replacement of electrical wiring, partial cosmetic repairs.
Of course, improving working conditions for employees of strongholds is necessary. We control the quality and speed of all work. Major renovations of the facilities will be completed by the end of March 2024noted Mikhail Afanasyev.
A total of 39.49 million rubles have been allocated from the city budget for these purposes.
