Alupka to revise traffic organization in the historical center of the city
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The head of the Yalta administration went to Alupka on issues of organizing traffic in the historical center of the city. Following the visit, additional measures to restrict traffic and parking will be taken in the near future
I went to Alupka on the issue of organizing traffic in the historical center of the city. We put it in order, including with federal funds, not so that it would turn into a large parking lot. Together with colleagues from the State Traffic Inspectorate, we worked out solutions, — the press service quotes Yanina Pavlenko.
According to the head of the Yalta administration, in the very near future, prohibitory signs will appear in the pedestrian zone area and the installation of large bollards will begin instead of chain barriers, which will prevent third-party vehicles from driving and parking in the pedestrian zone.
Yanina Pavlenko also called on residents and visitors of Alupka to be understanding of the measures being taken and not to violate the Traffic Regulations.
There will definitely be fines. After the installation of bollards and road signs, an updated traffic scheme will come into effect, and along with it, tow trucks — the issues of organizing additional impound lots from Gurzuf to Foros were discussed with the head of the State Traffic Inspectorate, — the head of the Yalta administration emphasized.
At the same time, the contractor of the «Old City» is starting to rebuild the transport stop with the construction of a «pocket», which will minimize traffic jams.
