Alushta is the leader of destinations where demand for New Year's holidays has grown the most
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Many people want to celebrate the New Year with a trip or travel. Demand for domestic destinations for New Year’s dates continues to grow — compared to the same period last year, it increased by 75%. The popularity of booking apartments increased the most — by 51%. In second place are hotels, the popularity of which has increased by 39%. Then come cottages and bases, where demand increased by 7% and 2.5%, respectively. However, prices have also increased compared to the New Year 2022/23. The average cost of New Year’s Eve increased by 8%, but it was already impressive. Therefore, it is not surprising that Russians are looking for new places for a holiday — those that previously, perhaps, were not so in demand or were somewhat forgotten.
The Russian hotel and apartment booking service TVIL.RU has identified areas where demand for the New Year has grown most impressively. Alushta took first place — there, compared to last year’s season, popularity jumped by 900%. In second place is Pskov, the demand for which has increased by 433%, and in third are three cities: Vladikavkaz, Goryachy Klyuch and Veliky Ustyug, the birthplace of Father Frost. In these cities, demand increased by 400%,” noted the service’s press service.
Ten destinations where demand for the New Year has grown the most:
1. Alushta, Crimea (900%) — 4117 rub. / 6 nights*
2. Pskov, Pskov region (433%) — 5335 rub. / 4 nights
