Alushta museums have united into a new excursion route

Three Alushta house museums have united into a new excursion route “Family as a ship of love.” Tourists will learn about the traditions and extraordinary life stories of the architect and artist Alexei Beketov, writers Ivan Shmelev and Sergei Sergeev-Tsensky. According to Tourist portal of Crimeathe first historical walk will take place on March 2.

The new excursion route “Family as a ship of love” will pass through the Professor’s Corner of southern coastal Alushta. “Tourists will visit three museums at once. They will see the writing workshop of the “lord of verbal secrets,” the famous writer and academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences Sergei Nikolaevich Sergeev-Tsensky. Then they will visit the house of the famous architect, artist and master of “frozen music” Alexei Nikolaevich Beketov and the home of “the most Russian of Moscow writers”, whose name was banned for a long time“Ivan Sergeevich Shmelev,” said the organizers of the excursion.

Participants of the walk will learn why the mountain where one of the museums is located is called Orlina, and who in the mid-twentieth century was considered the oldest Russian writer, will get acquainted with the author of more than 120 completed architectural projects in the south of Russia and a relative of Alexander Blok. They will also listen to a fascinating story about the “most Russian” writer Ivan Shmelev, who was twice nominated for the Nobel Prize, whose erudition was highly appreciated by Anton Chekhov as a child.

The excursion “Family as a ship of love” will take place every Saturday from 12:00. The first historical walk will take place on March 2. The starting point will be the memorial house of S.N.
