Alushta residents donated icons for front-line churches in the Northern Military District zone
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Crimeans donated the icons of the “Holy Trinity” and “St. George the Victorious” in the Alushta Church as part of the project “Popular Front. Everything for victory! In the near future, representatives of the presidential movement, together with Crimean clergy, will deliver them to the North Military District zone to specially equipped field churches.
Such a shrine was simply brought to us from the heart and soul by the caring residents of Crimea. The only thing they asked was that the icons go to front-line churches, where faith is especially important for people these days— the press service of the head of the regional executive committee of the Popular Front in Crimea quotes Alla Vertinskaya.
The Popular Front in Crimea, together with representatives of the Crimean diocese, has already conducted a series of trips to the front line at the request of the fighters. The guys pray and communicate under mortar attacks, in buildings destroyed by missile attacks, in zero positions and are always happy for moral support no less than humanitarian aid.
