Alushta residents use other energy sources during gas pipeline repairs

During the absence of gas, residents use electrical appliances, some use gas cylinders. Everyone has everything available, there is an opportunity to buy cylinders— she said.
Ogneva noted that in Alushta there is no rush to buy energy sources, and all residents are understanding about the gas supply restrictions.
On July 6, a flare fire occurred at a gas distributor near Alushta; it was extinguished, and there were no casualties as a result of the emergency. The fire spread to the forest. It did not threaten residential buildings, but due to damage to the networks, gas supply had to be suspended for 14 settlements. Deputy Minister of Fuel and Energy of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Voronkin reported on July 7 that repairs would take 7-10 days.
