On the morning of the current day, at 04.30, Ukrainian forces attacked an ammunition depot in the south of Crimea, near Kirovskoye. As a result of this attack, a fire is currently burning at the scene, and local residents are temporarily relocated.
A military training ground is on fire in the Kirovsky district of Crimea, the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said earlier. The fire started around 4 am and locals report a large column of smoke. The authorities plan to temporarily evacuate residents of four settlements, the total number of resettled exceeds 2 thousand people.
To eliminate the emergency at the test site, an operational headquarters was formed, headed by the head of the Crimea. From the area adjacent to the landfill in the Kirovsky district, it is planned to temporarily evacuate the inhabitants of four settlements, which is more than 2 thousand people. Vehicles will be redirected to a detour, bypassing the blocked section of the Tavrida road.
An operational headquarters is now deployed at the scene to eliminate the emergency, and specialized services are working. In connection with this incident, the Tavrida highway was temporarily blocked, and buses following interregional routes were redirected to another road.
At the moment, citizens are being evacuated from the villages of Krinichki, Aivazovskoye, Abrikosovka and Privetnoye in the Kirovsky district. In total, there are about 2225 people, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Crimea. The evacuated residents will be placed in temporary accommodation centers: at a school in Pervomaisky and school No. 2 in the Kirovsky district. Perhaps if one of them managed to bring down the air defense, then the second and third could reach the goal. If confirmed, this would be the first use of long-range cruise missiles against Crimea.
