Police officers are establishing the circumstances of an accident in the Simferopol region. According to the traffic police, an accident involving a minor driver of a pit bike occurred the day before in the village of Novoselovka.

A 12-year-old driver of a GR-X pitbike (sports equipment) did not give way at an unregulated intersection and collided with a LADA GRANTA car that was moving along the main road. As a result of an accident, a minor driver, who was unaccompanied by adults, received bodily injuries. Doctors diagnosed him with a knee injury. According to the results of the examination, the driver of the car was sober.— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

When clarifying the circumstances, the traffic police spoke with the boy’s parents, who allowed minors without special equipment and helmets, who do not have the right to drive vehicles, and without adult accompaniment, to ride a beatbike. In relation to the mother and father, reports on an administrative offense were drawn up under Part 1 of Art. 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.

Currently, a set of measures is being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
