Yesterday evening, information was received about a traffic accident in the area of ​​the Feodosia settlement Primorsky. The Ministry of Emergency Situations, the ambulance and the traffic police left for the scene.

Upon arrival at the scene of the accident, it became known that there had been a collision between two passenger cars, a VAZ 2114 and a Renault Duster, as a result of which the crossover had driven into a ditch.

Firefighters assisted medical workers in transporting the Renault Duster driver to an ambulance. The department’s employees also carried out all necessary measures to ensure fire safety at the scene of the accident.

Law enforcement officials are establishing the causes of the accident. Judging by the nature of the damage to the vehicles, the cause of the accident was an ill-judged overtaking and a «tangential» collision, which, in turn, led to the car «flying off» into a ditch.
