On the night of July 17, the ark with the relics of Patriarch Tikhon was delivered to the St. Petersburg Cathedral of the Khersones monastery, correspondent reports RIA Novosti Crimea.
The bringing of the shrine is dedicated to the centenary of the blessed death of St. Tikhon — the first patriarch of Moscow and all Rus’ after the restoration of the patriarchate.
After the solemn meeting of the relics in the cathedral, the Divine Liturgy was held, which was held by the Metropolitan of the Crimean and Sevastopol Tikhon.
Throughout the day July 17, from 7:00 to 20:00, the relics will be available for worship. Every hour, from 10:00 to 17:00, prayers will be performed with the reading of the akathist Saint Tikhon-said in the press service of the Crimean Metropolis.
After Sevastopol, the ark will arrive in Simferopol, to the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. There, the shrine will stay from 18 to July 19 inclusive.
The solemn wires of the holy relics of St. Tikhon, the Patriarch of All -Russian will take place on July 19 at 16:00, — Added to the metropolis.
