Late on Wednesday evening, July 16, will arrive in Sevastopol with the relics of Patriarch Tikhon. The shrine will solemnly meet in the Holy-Vladimir Cathedral of the Khersones monastery. This was announced by the Governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The bringing of the ark with the relics of the saint is timed to the centenary of the blessed death of St. Tikhon, the first patriarch of Moscow and all Rus’ after the restoration of the patriarchate, the governor noted.
He (the ark — ed.) Will arrive in Sevastopol today late in the evening. A solemn meeting will be held in the St. Petersburg Kherson Monastery, after which the night liturgy will be held,-said Razvozhaev in his Telegram channel.
According to the governor, the whole next day, July 17, the ark will be open to worship believers from 7 in the morning. The evening service will begin at 18:00. And at eight o’clock in the evening the shrine will leave for Simferopol, added ravines.
He noted that the bringing of the ark is performed in 90 cities of Russia and Belarus with the blessing of the Holy Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ Cyril.
