An athletics marathon was held in Simferopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On November 17, the Crimean athletics marathon was held in the park named after Yuri Gagarin, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the administration of Simferopol.
More than 50 volunteers helped organize and run the event, regulating the movement of participants along the entire marathon route.
Athletes of all ages took to the start line:
- The children had a 1 km race to feel the atmosphere of a real competitive spirit.
- adults were offered distances of 5, 10, 21 and 42 km, allowing each athlete to test their strength and show the best result.
The head of the Youth, Sports and Tourism Department of the Simferopol City Administration, Anatoly Golubitsa, took part in the marathon, emphasizing the importance of such sporting events for the development of a healthy lifestyle and strengthening the sports culture in the city.
