An eco-technopark is being built in the Saki region
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The progress of construction work on an eco-technopark in the Saki region with a capacity of 200 thousand tons per year was inspected by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Yuri Gotsanyuk.
The construction of the eco-technopark is being implemented within the framework of the regional project “Integrated system for the management of municipal solid waste” of the national project “Ecology”. This year, construction and installation work should be fully completed and the facility put into operation. To reduce risks and complete all activities on time, it is necessary to increase the pace of work and attract additional workers and equipment— quotes the press service of Yuri Gotsanyuk.
According to the Prime Minister of Crimea, networks are currently being laid and equipment is being installed, and work on landscaping the territory will begin in the near future.
The complex will be designed to receive solid municipal waste, sample and crush large materials from the general waste stream. It will also sort and accumulate secondary material resources and compost the organic fraction. The commissioning of eco-technoparks will allow the Republic of Crimea to ensure the processing of all generated waste on the territory of the Republic of Crimea by 2025, as well as to reduce the volume of waste sent for disposal by half, — Yuri Gotsanyuk notes.
