The All-Russian educational campaign “Walk with Knowledge” took place in Sevastopol; its main goal was to introduce young people to places that are important and significant for the region. The organizer of the event is the Russian Society “Knowledge”. Today, Deputy Governor Alexander Kulagin conducted an excursion for schoolchildren at the 35th coastal battery.
The 35th coastal battery is a place of tragic heroism, very important for the history of Sevastopol and all of Russia. This is a very dear place for me, since I participated in the creation of the memorial complex. Also in the pantheon of memory there are many surnames that are associated with my family,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Alexander Kulagin.
Director of the branch of the Russian Society «Knowledge» Anna Glukhova noted that the society regularly conducts educational and educational lectures. The “Walk with Knowledge” campaign introduces young people as closely as possible to the history of the region.
