An electronic assistant will help taxpayers of Sevastopol to correctly fill out a notification on the calculated amounts of taxes

Specialists of the Department of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol at the weekly webinar «Tax Hour» told Sevastopol entrepreneurs that the Federal Tax Service of Russia has developed a convenient chat bot «UNS Assistant”, which, taking into account the approaching date for filing a notification of calculated tax amounts, will help to provide a document without errors.
Head of the department for the provision of public services T.N. Zobkova demonstrated the work of a chatbot in real time, which, in accordance with the life situations of taxpayers, offers assistance in the context of two client scenarios: how to fill out and how to submit a notification.
She also reminded the listeners of the event that the promo page contains detailed information about the start date of using the innovation, about the benefits of the UNT, as well as about the procedure for working with the Single Tax Payment.
The promo page consists of blocks of questions and answers, allowing you to get acquainted with the nuances of the UNC and the EPP, contains information about notification schedule for all taxesrecommendations on how to correct errors in notifications already provided (if necessary), and also contains examples of filling out payment orders for tax transfers.
T.N. Zobkova clarified that for the convenience of taxpayers, the information on the promo page is constantly updated, supplemented and improved depending on the business community’s requests for information in the context of certain nuances of applying the new budget settlement mechanism.
Head of the department for settling the state of settlements with the budget A.N. Krasnoperov answered all the questions of taxpayers related to the provision of notifications of calculated taxes and filling out payment documents for the transfer of a single tax payment.
He clarified that in order to distribute the ETP for payments with an advance settlement system, for which the declaration arrives later than the tax payment deadline, a notification of the calculated amounts is provided. This is necessary to reserve the amount of payment against future accruals.
The reserved amount is the amount of money set off against the upcoming obligation. To ensure that this overpayment is not accounted for as an ETP and not used to pay off other taxes in 2023, accruals will be generated for each advance from the submitted notification. The amount of the accrual is equal to the amount of the payment. After filing a declaration or calculation, these accruals will be replaced by actual ones from the submitted statements.
If the declaration is not submitted on time, such amounts will be awaiting the submission of the declaration within 10 days. Then they will return to the overall balance of the UNS.
In order to transfer the reserved amount to the UNS, it is necessary to provide an application for the cancellation of the offset against the fulfillment of future obligations in the form of KND 1165171 (by order Federal Tax Service of Russia dated November 30, 2022 No. ED-7-8/1133@) through the Personal Account or via telecommunication channels (TCS).
Deputy Head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol S.I. Golodenko clarified that the number of unresolved issues related to the transition to the Single Tax Account has significantly decreased and at present the main «inconsistencies» that have arisen during the conversion of data have already been resolved.
