An ENT department was opened in the Evpatoria city hospital after a major overhaul

Funding for the work was allocated within the framework of the departmental target program «Modernization of public health institutions in order to bring them up to federal standards and regulations.» The cost of the overhaul of the ENT department amounted to 20 million rubles.

According to Alexander Shevtsov, chief physician of the Evpatoria City Hospital GBUZ RK, during the overhaul of the ENT department, internal finishing work was carried out, engineering networks were replaced, and measures were taken to provide an accessible environment for the disabled and other people with limited mobility. Ventilation, fire alarm, gas supply system were installed, local computer networks and communication networks were installed. All work was carried out by the contractor with high quality and on time. According to the chief physician, the department has 36 beds for round-the-clock stay and 5 beds for day hospitals. It provides planned and emergency medical care to both adults and children. The ENT department is provided with all the necessary equipment, instruments and medical furniture in accordance with the equipment list and standards for the provision of medical care.— noted in the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
