An entrepreneur was fined in Sevastopol: he illegally provided consumer loans

According to the materials of the prosecutor’s office of the Gagarinsky district of the city of Sevastopol, a person who carried out illegal activities in providing consumer loans was fined 30 thousand rubles.
The prosecutor’s office of the Gagarinsky district of the city of Sevastopol conducted an audit of compliance with the requirements of the law when providing consumer loans. It was established that an individual entrepreneur carried out illegal veiled activities of a pawnshop in the commission shop «Doverie» on Oktyabrskaya Revolutsii Ave. Under the guise of concluding commission agreements for the sale of used goods, he actually provided consumer loans without having the appropriate permission for this. In order to protect the rights of citizens from illegal activities for the issuance of borrowed funds, the district prosecutor’s office initiated an administrative offense case under Art. 14.56 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (carrying out professional activities for the provision of consumer loans by an individual entrepreneur who does not have the right to carry it out). By the decision of the Gagarinsky District Court of the city of Sevastopol, the entrepreneur was brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine in the amount of 30 thousand rubles— the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office notes in the press service.
