The implementation of the art project «Summer Sevastopol» continues. Within its framework, master classes, performances by artists and educational evenings are held every Saturday in different parts of the city. This Saturday, 16 July, at 17: 00 on the site in front of the theater named after A. V. Lunacharsky, Sevastopol residents will be able to visit the creative project “Beauty is the decoration of virtue”. The evening will be dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci — this year marks the 570 anniversary of his birth.
Monumental, but visually simple, with a strict geometry of construction, the Sevastopol Academic Russian Drama Theater. A. V. Lunacharsky, so similar to the ideas of the late Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, is striking in its beauty! The great Leonardo da Vinci is a source of inspiration and a role model for many Sevastopol musicians, artists and designers. In memory of the master’s boundless talent, within the framework of the Summer Sevastopol art project, we present a collaboration: a fashion show, columns of the Corinthian order of the Theater. A. V. Lunacharsky, Italian opera performed by the best duet and jazz works. Thanks to such projects, residents and guests of the city can feel the organic unity of the world «Everything is in me — and I am in everything» and love for our city , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department of culture Irina Romanets.
The program of the event includes a display of the collections “The noise of the wind blowing to Byzantium”, “Dionysus”, “Gobekli Tepe”. The musical highlight of the evening will be the performance of the opera duo «Mezzo-Soprano» consisting of Victoria Nakorneeva, Anna Kachalova and the jazz trio «AZ».
