An exhibition dedicated to the acquaintance of Chekhov and Voloshin will be presented in Koktebel

With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, on October 17 at 12:00 in the authentic interior of the House-Museum of M.A. Voloshin in Koktebel a new inter-museum exhibition “Chekhov and Voloshin” will open. The exhibition project is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the acquaintance of the great playwright Anton Chekhov and the poet, critic and artist Maximilian Voloshin. The meeting of the two creators took place in Yalta at the Omur dacha at the end of February 1899.
The exhibition presents materials indicating Voloshin’s deep interest in Chekhov’s work. At the exhibition you will be able to see original photographs, unique documents, items from the stock collection of the Crimean Literary and Art Memorial Museum-Reserve, which includes the House-Museum of A.P. Chekhov in Yalta.
You can visit the exhibition “Chekhov and Voloshin” until November 15, according to the work schedule of the M.A. House-Museum. Voloshin in Koktebel.
