An exhibition dedicated to the special military operation will be presented in the Yalta House-Museum of A.P. Chekhov
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The director of the Crimean Literary and Artistic Memorial Museum-Reserve, which includes Belaya Dacha, Larisa Kovalchuk, announced the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the special military operation.
In one of the stories of the writer there is a wonderful idea that the truth is the main thing in human life. And we, as museum workers, are always in awe of truth and history, in which they are now trying to replace and rewrite the truth.— she noted and added that the new exhibition project, created jointly with the regional division of the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency in Simferopol and the poet, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Anna Revyakina, will «show and tell» the truth of the present.
According to the director of the museum, the creative initiative combined literature and the art of photography — the museum will present several works by photojournalist Dmitry Makeev, made in the NWO zone. Caught in the lens in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions emphasize rhyming lines originally from the Donbass.
If you want everyone to know the truth, show the pictures and add lines from poems by contemporary poets. News reports show the external side of hostilities, while poems reflect the soul, feelings and everything that disturbed the people who go through it.— notes Anna Revyakina.
In her opinion, it is poetry that will help preserve the memory of what happened, and most importantly, it will answer the question “why”.
According to the editor-in-chief of special projects of RIA Novosti Krym Olga Leonova, the presented photos show the whole truth about military operations and life in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, the grief and joy of ordinary people, their way of life and dreams:
These are absolutely truthful reportage photographs — after all, the truth can be “preserved”, preserved for centuries in diaries, sketches, videos and photographs of eyewitnesses. And journalists are fixators of reality. As well as writers, artists, poets, whose works are always a mirror of the era.
The opening of the exhibition «Through the Eyes of Truth» will be held at the House-Museum of A.P. Chekhov in Yalta on June 15 at 14:00. As Larisa Kovalchuk clarified, on this day, everyone will also be able to convey words of support to the Russian military by signing postcards, which will then be handed over along with humanitarian cargo to the front line.
