An exhibition of designer ceramics by Pavel Ermolenko has been opened at the Crimean Ethnographic Museum

With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, the Crimean Ethnographic Museum hosted the opening of an exhibition of original ceramics by the honored artisan of Crimea Pavel Ermolenko “Four Elements”, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the master.
Pavel Ermolenko is a ceramic artist, master of decorative and applied arts, who most fully demonstrated his artistic abilities in the field of pottery ceramics, bringing to perfection his mastery of this technique, which became the basis for creating artistic ceramic products harmonious in shape, color and texture, both utilitarian and and interior character.
The host of the event, head of the department of information and cultural and educational work of the Republican Museum, Evgenia Baranova, addressed the numerous guests with words of greeting and spoke about the master’s development as a ceramic artist and his creative path.
During the presentation of the exhibition project, First Deputy Head of the Department Olga Burova made a welcoming speech on behalf of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina, noting the artistic and pedagogical talent of the author, expressing gratitude to the Crimean Ethnographic Museum as one of the main platforms for the creative realization of talented people of the peninsula— reported the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
Greetings were also made by the director of the Crimean Ethnographic Museum Yuri Laptev, deputy director of the Folk Art Center of the Republic of Crimea Nikolai Barsky, head of the Orthodox Youth Educational Center “Zerna” Priest Evgeny Polyutov, president of the Association “Chamber of Folk Arts and Crafts of the Republic of Crimea” Natalya Gordetskaya, head of the creative association “Ornek” Svetlana Sergeeva, colleagues and friends of the master.
The author spoke about the long process of preparing the exhibition, the purpose of which was not only to demonstrate the works, but also to present the production process of the products.
A colorful highlight of the presentation was the performance of the family duet “Beseda”, who performed an old Cossack song.
Exhibition will last until March 11.
