An exhibition of works by photographer Alexander Gushchin opened in the gallery of the Crimean Youth Theater
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In the gallery of contemporary art «Ha-Ra-Sho!» The Crimean State Theater for Young Spectators opened an exhibition of works by photographer Alexander Gushchin. This is the author’s second personal exhibition in the gallery of the Crimean Youth Theater; photographs were also exhibited in collaboration with other photographers from Sevastopol.
At the opening day, gallery curator Andrey Permyakov noted that such exhibitions are an opportunity to slow down and see the beauty around you. People who work in the genre of artistic photography, especially such as landscape and animal photography, are real photo hunters. In the case of landscapes, authors hunt the weather to catch the right light— said the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
The exhibition by Alexander Gushchin opens up the peninsula to viewers from a new side; famous landscapes take on completely different shapes. Photographs taken at night with long exposures and backlighting have long become the author’s calling card. You can see the exhibition in Yevpatoria until February 22 (Free admission).
Alexander Gushchin is a native of Sevastopol, an artist of the International Federation of Photographic Art (Artiste FIAP), Honored Artist of the International Federation of Photographic Art.
