An expensive crossover is in favor of the state… and all because of alcohol. A story from the Simferopol region

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Simferopol District Prosecutor’s Office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a local resident. She was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person brought to administrative responsibility for a similar act).

According to the preliminary investigation body, the convicted person, having been brought to administrative responsibility for driving a vehicle while intoxicated, did not draw the appropriate conclusions for herself, and again began driving a Haval F7x after consuming alcohol. While moving within a parking area near one of the restaurants in the suburbs of Simferopol, a woman collided with another car parked there. During the verification of the circumstances of the incident, it was established that the convict was in a state of intoxication,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.

The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the woman to a fine of 200 thousand rubles with deprivation of the right to drive all types of vehicles for a period of 2 years. The Haval F7x crossover (worth three million rubles), which belonged to the convicted woman, was confiscated to the state.
