An exposition dedicated to the events of the Northern Military District opened in the Museum-Reserve «Sudak Fortress»
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The exhibition “Russia. We do not leave our own”, dedicated to a special military operation. The exposition introduces the beginning of the NWO, a chronicle of hostilities and events in 2022.
Thematic stands provide information about the special military operation, its goals and tactical tasks, mobilization activities, and humanitarian support for soldiers. The page of memory of high heroism «Heroes of Z» deserves special attention.
Witnesses of modern history were exhibits — items of military equipment and weapons from the combat zone of a special military operation: walkie-talkies, manual and automatic grenade launchers, portable anti-aircraft complex «Igla», cartridge cases from «Hyacinth», gunpowder shell tube, bulletproof vest, tank helmet, part «Hurricane», provided by the Sudak city organization «Combat Brotherhood». More recently, they were in the hands of the soldiers, today they are museum exhibits designed to tell the truth about the complex and important, necessary and heroic— the press service of the Republican Ministry of Culture reported.
The director of the museum-reserve, Svetlana Yemets, opened the new exposition, noting that it is very important to preserve and broadcast the truth about what is happening, because a special military operation is taking place both on the battlefields and in the information space. The hall for the exposition was not chosen by chance: exhibits dedicated to the Great Patriotic War are placed here, because in this way the continuity of generations of heroes of our country is emphasized.
Those present honored with a minute of silence all those who died in the NVO zone and paid tribute to the blessed memory of fellow countrymen: Valentin Isaychev, Evgeny Sergeev, Vitaly Ilyushkin, Timur Ganiev. The leitmotif of the event was the songs «For Russia» and «Snow on shoulder straps» performed by Yulia Konovchenko.
Members of the Youth Army, veterans, schoolchildren, residents of the city took part in the opening of the exhibition.
