An ice skating rink for winter sports will appear in Kerch before the end of this year; about 1.3 thousand people will be able to visit it. This was announced by the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov after a meeting with the Olympic silver medalist, choreographer, director of the Heritage Winter Sports School Ilya Averbukh.
A decision was made to build a new ice skating rink in Kerch by the end of the year, where about 1,300 people, including 500 children, will be trained at the expense of the budget. Pupils of the winter sports school are already showing good results: they compete and win at the Russian figure skating championshipsAksenov wrote in his Telegram channel.
In addition, the head of Crimea noted that ice skating rinks in Simferopol and in the village of Uyutnoye, Saki district, are currently attended by 800 children, classes are held for them free of charge, and there is also a night hockey league.
