Police officers of the Saki district seized a large amount of marijuana from a resident of one of the local villages. The woman now has problems, there will be a trial, there will be a deadline. And she didn’t even think that she was breaking the law. Well, at least that’s what he says.

Employees of the department for drug control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Saksky» conducted an inspection of a country house in one of the villages of the Saksky district. In the dwelling of a 56-year-old local resident, the police found three three-liter glass bottles with a dried herbal substance with a specific smell— told the details in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

According to the owner of the household, this substance is marijuana, which was kept by her now deceased husband, who allowed non-medical use of drugs. According to the woman, after the death of her husband, she continued to store this substance for the purpose of personal use … For health. An examination was carried out, the results of which confirmed that the seized substance is a narcotic drug «cannabis» with a total weight of 192 grams— noted in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

According to part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of plants containing narcotic drugs”) a criminal case was initiated. The sanction of the article provides for punishment from three to ten years in prison.
