An Islamic cultural and educational women's center was opened in Simferopol

The Islamic cultural and educational women’s center «Alem-I-Niswan» («Women’s World») held its official opening in a solemn atmosphere. The center operates under the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Guests of the event were presented with the educational and cultural program of the center: courses on the basics of Islamic knowledge and reading the Koran, studying the Crimean Tatar language, lessons in traditional embroidery «myklama», courses in massage and hijama, women’s fitness, thematic lectures on the history and culture of the Crimean Tatars, lectures on women’s health, a series of lessons on beauty, makeup and personal care, as well as educational activities for children. As part of the opening of the center, each teacher spoke in detail about his course and answered questions of interest.
Zenife Ablaeva, head of the Alem-I-Niswan center, made a welcoming speech to the girls:
The dream has come true, I am incredibly happy about it. Today we opened our cultural and educational center Alem-I-Niswan. This is a space where every woman can find herself through gaining useful skills and knowledge, communicating with each other, and sharing experiences. The newest building, equipped classrooms, all conditions have been created so that women can successfully develop and realize themselves in the modern world.
An exhibition-fair of masters of decorative and applied arts, handmade jewelry, Muslim perfumes, and printed publications presented by the Ismail Gasprinsky Media Center was prepared for all guests. Crimean Tatar singer Mavile Abkerimova performed her songs, and the soloist of the Crimean Tatar ensemble “Atesh” performed the national dance “Tym-Tym”. The girls also appreciated the display of the Kiyafet women’s clothing collection, and the young guests of the holiday were treated to an entertainment program from the animators.
At the end of the grand opening, a quiz was held among the guests with a drawing of gifts, as well as refreshments.
