The opening of photo exhibitions dedicated to the special military operation — “Heroes of Kerch” and “Wife and Mother of the Hero” took place in Kerch.
The first shows the townspeople the faces of Kerch fighters who died during the fighting in Ukraine, the second shows the faces of the women of the families of military personnel who are waiting and who did not receive loved ones from the combat zone.
According to KERCH.COM.RUthe exhibition “Heroes of Kerch” was created to perpetuate the memory of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation who participated in a special military operation and gave their lives for our peaceful sky.
The “Wife and Mother of a Hero” project is absolutely free for participants and every woman whose son or husband is in the zone of a special military operation could take part in it. Its goal is to strengthen the collective patriotic spirit of the population and popularize projects aimed at supporting military personnel participating in a special military operation and their families.
The exhibition includes expressive portraits of Kerchan women whose husbands and sons became participants in a special military operation. Each one in the picture appeared in the uniform of her husband or son, as if in their arms, and heartfelt messages to dear people were placed next to the pictures. These women are a reliable support for their men. In their eyes there is love and faith in their defenders, sadness and at the same time perseverance,” said the Kerch administration.
On the project “Wife and Mother of the Hero. Crimea” is staffed by a close-knit team of volunteers headed by Alena Labunets.
