In Sevastopol, the district police officer detained a suspect in the deliberate infliction of harm to the health of a local resident. As emphasized in the Sevastopol police, earlier the attacker was repeatedly prosecuted for similar crimes.
It was established that in the evening a verbal skirmish broke out between a group of drunken men on the street, during which one of them, a 24-year-old local resident, attacked two other participants in the conflict and beat them with his hands and feet. As a result of the incident, one of the victims, a 43-year-old man, was taken to a medical facility with injuries of varying severity.— told the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
The suspect has been identified and arrested. Video recordings and other physical evidence confirming his involvement in illegal activities were confiscated. A criminal case was initiated against the detainee under Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm”). An unrestrained citizen faces up to 8 years in prison.
