An unscrupulous contractor was fined in Crimea. The amount of the multi-million dollar fine is impressive

In Crimea, the Dzhankoy interdistrict prosecutor’s office verified compliance with the requirements of the legislation on the contract system. It has been established that the state budgetary healthcare institution of the Republic of Crimea “Dzhankoy Central District Hospital” has concluded a state contract for the construction of modular medical and obstetric stations in the villages of Yasnopolyanskoye, Solenoye Ozero, Kovylnoye, Medvedevka. The contract period was scheduled for April 2023, but the contractor did not complete the work on time.
In view of the identified violations, the prosecutor issued decisions regarding the legal entity to initiate cases of administrative offenses under Part 7 of Art. 7.32 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (actions (inaction) resulting in failure to fulfill obligations stipulated by the contract with causing significant harm to the interests of society and the state protected by law)— reported the prosecutor’s office.
Based on the results of the review, the company was fined more than 11.3 million rubles. Currently, work on the construction of modular paramedic and midwife stations continues.
