The grand opening of the updated city Board of Honor took place in Simferopol. The names of 4 labor collectives and portraits of 9 citizens, whose services to the Crimean capital in various fields were recognized as outstanding, will occupy a place of honor throughout the year, located on the territory of the park named after Valery Ermak.

The event was attended by the head of the administration of the Crimean capital, Mikhail Afanasyev, and the deputy chairman of the Simferopol City Council, Nadezhda Aksyonova. The participants of the event were also congratulated by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Efim Fiks.

During the ceremonial meeting, all recipients were presented with diplomas and memorable gifts. In addition, the names of people and the names of the city’s collectives, whose forces and talents Simferopol is rapidly transforming, were included in the “Honorary Book of the City of Simferopol,” which is kept in the Museum of the History of the Capital of Crimea.
