And a knife in the back: the result of a birthday celebration in Sevastopol. There was alcohol, of course

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A 57-year-old Sevastopol resident decided to celebrate his birthday and invited a 43-year-old friend over, with whom they began drinking alcohol.

During the drinking session, a verbal altercation arose between the men, which, due to alcohol intoxication, escalated into a conflict. When the birthday boy ran out of verbal arguments, he could not think of anything more effective to express his dissatisfaction with the guest than to injure him. The organizer of the party went around from behind his opponent, took a knife from the kitchen table and stabbed him in the back, causing minor bodily harm. The victim, frightened, quickly left the scene and called the police for help.— the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol announced the details of the case.

The arriving officers of the separate battalion of the Vasily Buzin patrol and guard service and the separate company of the patrol and guard service of the OMVD of Russia for the Leninsky district promptly detained the troublemaker and took him to the police station for further investigation.

A criminal case has been opened against the detainee by the investigation department of the OMVD of Russia for the Leninsky District under paragraph «c» of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Intentional infliction of minor bodily harm»; he faces up to two years of imprisonment.
