In Sevastopol, criminal investigation officers detained a woman suspected of stealing a bag from a visitor to a karaoke bar. The moment of the crime was recorded by one of the surveillance cameras installed on the territory of the entertainment establishment. Pay attention to the «smoothness of movement» and «perfect technique» of the thief.

The police found out that during a visit to a karaoke bar, a 45-year-old unknown woman approached a company that was on a summer playground and, taking advantage of the fact that no one paid attention to her, secretly stole a handbag from a 36-year-old visitor. The attacker stole a smartphone worth about five thousand rubles found in a bag, and threw away the women’s bag— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.

As a result of operational-search activities, the criminal investigation department of the Severnoye police department detained the suspect. According to part 1 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”) a criminal case was initiated. The perpetrator faces up to two years in prison.
