Minister of Culture of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina, as part of a working trip of the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, visited the Bakhchisaray district. The Khan’s Palace ensemble includes 16 objects. Thanks to an integrated approach to the repair and restoration process, activities are simultaneously carried out at all objects of the palace ensemble. Currently, repair and restoration activities have been completed at 6 sites (“Durbe Dilyara-Bikech Tomb”, “Northern Durbe” Tomb, “South Durbe” Tomb, “Sary Guzel Bath”, “Catherine’s Mile”, “Tombstone Rotunda”). , acceptance of completed work is being carried out at 4 sites (“Falcon Tower”, “Stable Building”, “Library Building”, “Embankment with Three Bridges”). Work continues on 6 objects: “Countal (suite) building”, “Khan’s kitchen”, “Main building”, “Harem”, “Khan’s mosque (II stage)”, “Gardens and park structures”— said the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
It is emphasized that when visiting the Bakhchisarai Historical, Cultural and Archaeological Museum-Reserve, a cultural heritage site of regional significance “Palace Cemetery” was examined, which was not involved in repair and restoration work due to the category of regional rather than federal significance established for it.
