The Leninsky District Court of the Republic of Crimea issued a ruling in the case of an administrative offense under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3. Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation to a 32-year-old Crimean resident living in the town. Lenino, for his commission of public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens.
During the consideration of the case, it was established that on September 13, 2023, the offender posted photographs using the Internet in the Instagram messenger (ed.: — in Russia, the activities of the social network are prohibited, recognized in March 2022 as an extremist social network) information aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, thereby carrying out actions aimed at publicly discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during a special military operation. At the court hearing, the offender fully admitted his guilt and repented of his crimenoted the press service of the court.
The court, having comprehensively studied the case materials, taking into account the circumstances of the offense, information about the identity of the citizen, the presence of a young child, sentenced the man to a fine of 50 thousand rubles. The resolution did not enter into legal force.
