The Sovetsky District Court of the Republic of Crimea issued a verdict in a criminal case against a 49-year-old resident of one of the local villages. He was found guilty of committing a crime under paragraph “h” of Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“causing serious harm to health, dangerous to human life, with the use of an object used as a weapon”).
As the court established, in August 2023, the defendant, while intoxicated, quarreled with his brother. During the conflict, the man stabbed him once in the abdomen with a kitchen knife.— said the prosecutor’s office.
The court sentenced the perpetrator to imprisonment for a term of 3 years to be served in a general regime correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
