During the operational meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the results of the work of the city health department for 2022 a year were discussed. The head of the department, Vitaly Denisov, reported on the results of the implementation of the national project «Healthcare», spoke about the implementation of programs to improve the health of the population, and also specified the list of tasks facing the department for the coming year.

He added that the level of licensing coverage of medical and pharmaceutical organizations in the city has increased over the year. Licenses for the implementation of medical activities received 068 object from 124, this is 75,8% of the total number of organizations subject to licensing.

Vitaly Denisov also reported on the implementation of the regional project “Fight against cardiovascular diseases”. Its main task is the prevention of such ailments. As part of the re-equipment of the Regional Vascular Center in 2022, an X-ray computed tomograph was purchased and put into operation. Performed 554 X-ray endovascular interventions for medical purposes.

The fight against oncological diseases remains a topical regional project for the city. It is designed to ensure the availability of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of oncopathologies. Over the past year, 11 pieces of medical equipment were purchased for these purposes, including ultrasound machines, dosimetric equipment, an operating table, and more.

In addition, the subprogram «Bringing the institutions subordinated to the Department of Health of the city of Sevastopol to the equipment standards» is being implemented. 11 capital repairs have already been implemented.
