The Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Crimea sent materials to law enforcement and supervisory authorities for a criminal assessment regarding officials of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Krymenergo” who committed violations of the law when purchasing transformer oil for the needs of the enterprise.

As a result of violation of competitive procedures, the State Unitary Enterprise purchased goods at an inflated price by 70%. The damage caused to the enterprise under just one contract can amount to over 6 million rubles. Inspection activities at the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» together with the Financial Supervision Service of the Republic of Crimea continue under the control of the Head of the Republic of Crimeasays in message Anti-Corruption Committee.

Previously, based on the materials of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Crimea, a criminal case was opened for abuse of office (Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) by employees of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» for illegal interference in the operation of the metering device and entering into the act on unmetered electricity consumption deliberately false information, which damage was caused to the consumer in the form of unlawfully imposed penalties in the amount of 1.8 million rubles.

This crime was committed in the Razdolnensky district of Crimea by employees of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» with the direct participation of the management of the State Unitary Enterprise. By their actions, company officials unreasonably reduced existing commercial losses of electricity and imposed penalties on consumers,” noted the Anti-Corruption Committee.
