Fish that died en masse in the Chernomorsky district of the Republic of Crimea in one of the estuaries due to abnormal heat were taken out and dumped in the middle of the steppe near the Tarkhankutsky National Nature Park. The authorities reported that special compressors were used to saturate the water with oxygen. On July 24, social media reported and videos of fish collected in bags being thrown out in the middle of the steppe.

He noted that the fish kill was stopped by aeration — saturating the water with oxygen. According to Dudinov, the shore is clean and there are no more fish casts.
