In Sevastopol, district police officers detained a suspect in the deliberate infliction of harm to the health of his neighbor. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, the conflict between the men ended in criminal liability and a visit to a medical facility.

The duty unit of police station No. 1 «Severnoye» received a message from a medical institution that a 42-year-old local resident turned to them for help with a broken cheekbone and numerous bruises. The police found that a man living in one of the garden partnerships went out to his site in the evening, where a neighbor saw him from behind the fence and invited him to go outside the gate in order to resolve a long-standing conflict. When the arguments in the verbal skirmish ended, the neighbor struck the man more than three times with his fist in the face area, after which he kicked him several more times. Having received injuries, the victim went to a medical facility the next day.— told the details in the Sevastopol police.

The suspect, a 50-year-old local resident, was detained. A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Art. 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of moderate harm to health”), he faces up to three years in prison.
