A resident of the village of Razdolnoye is suspected of causing the death of her partner through negligence.
It was established that the woman, being drunk, threw an unextinguished cigarette on the bed where her partner was sleeping. As a result of the thermal effect of a smoldering cigarette butt on a mattress, a fire started, due to which the man died due to acute carbon monoxide poisoning— reported the Investigative Committee.
As part of the criminal case, the investigator carried out an inspection of the scene of the incident and urgent investigative actions, and ordered all the necessary examinations.
