The Crimean Musical Theater began preparing a new play “There, on Unknown Paths”. The New Year’s performance for young spectators is a fun fairy-tale adventure based on Russian folk tales.
The technical council has already passed, costumes and scenery are at the approval stage. Set designer Larisa Makhteeva and costume designer Getta Petkevich offered their vision of the future musical fairy tale. The choreographer will be the winner of the State Prize of Crimea Irina Gotsulenko.
On stage, with the help of expressive scenery and costumes emphasizing the confrontation between light and dark forces, the mysterious atmosphere of a fairy tale will be recreated. During the performance it is planned to use an LED screen. The artists also provide a traveling version of the performance— reported the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
The actors, led by the stage director — Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Kosov, will soon begin reading the play.
Premiere of the fairy tale “There, on Unknown Paths” scheduled for December 21 this year.
