The attacker turned out to be a 50-year-old unemployed resident of Sevastopol, who tore off the wiper and broke the side window of someone else’s car, thereby causing damage amounting to more than 20 thousand rubles.

A 39-year-old local resident contacted the duty station of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district and reported that from the balcony of her apartment she was watching an unknown woman damaging her car. Meanwhile, the attacker tried to break the side window of the car with her hand, but, realizing that she would not be able to do this, she tore off the wiper, with the help of which she finally completed her plan. Officers from a separate company of the PPSP Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Gagarinsky District immediately arrived at the scene of the incident, detained the suspect and took her to the police department for further investigation. When asked by law enforcement officers about the reason why the woman damaged someone else’s property, they could not get a clear answer, — reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.

The investigative department has opened a criminal case against the detainee under Part 2 of Art. 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Intentional damage to property committed out of hooligan motives.” The sanction of the article provides for up to five years in prison.
