«Angels of Donbass — we really wanted to live!» Donor campaign in the Yalta branch of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Karelia «Blood Center»

July 27 is the Day of Remembrance of Children Victims of the War in Donbass. It was established in 2022 by the decree of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic to perpetuate the memory of all the children of the DPR who died, the babies and teenagers whose lives were tragically cut short under the fire of the armed formations of Ukraine.

In total, hundreds of children of different ages have suffered and dozens have died as a result of Ukraine’s military aggression in the Donetsk People’s Republic since 2014. The memory of the innocent victims of aggression is cherished throughout Russia. In Memory of All Children — Victims of the War in Donbass, the Yalta Branch of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Blood Center», 14 Sverdrova Street, will host a donor campaign «Angels of Donbass» from July 24 to 26 to replenish the strategically important blood supply. During the campaign, young people can join the Federal Register of Bone Marrow Donors. The initiators of the socially significant and literally vital campaign are: MBUK «Yalta Centralized Club System» and the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Blood Center». These days, anyone who has no health problems, has an active life position and such human qualities as mercy and compassion, understanding that, unfortunately, a child is not insured against tragedy or illness, and that it is in our power to help save a life, will come to donate blood free of charge, — notes the coordinator of the Yalta Donor Movement, Ekaterina Demina.

Reception of voluntary blood donors in the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Karelia «Blood Center» is held at the address: Yalta, Sverdlova Street, 14 from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 13:00. You must have a Russian passport and SNILS with you.

On July 24, in memory of the children of Donbass who died, donors can make paper cranes, which are a symbol of memory and peace. Participants of the exemplary art studio «Palitra» of the branch «Yalta Cultural Center» of the Municipal Budgetary Cultural Institution «Yalta Centralized Club System» have prepared an exhibition of creative works «Angels of Donbass», it will be placed in the lobby of the «Blood Center». Memorial events will also be held in all branches of the Yalta Centralized Club System.
