Already this Sunday, April 16, Orthodox believers will celebrate the Bright Resurrection of Christ. By tradition, festive events and the Easter Art Alley family festival will take place in the St. Vladimir Cathedral and on the territory of the museum-reserve. Entrance for visitors is free!

  • April 16 at 00:00 at St. Vladimir Cathedral — Easter matins, Easter hours, liturgy of John Chrysostom.
  • 04:00–14:00 – consecration of Easter cakes and other festive treats.
  • 16:00 — Easter Vespers.

Guests of the Easter Art Alley festival will be able to feel the atmosphere of the holiday, spend time with their families and take holiday pictures near the photo zone. From 10:00 a.m. in the Byzantine courtyard of the museum-reserve will be organized a concert «Bright Resurrection of Christ» and thematic master classes. The performance will be held with the participation of the Honored Collective of Folk Art «Rus», the Exemplary Folk Song Ensemble «Kalinka» and the Folk Ensemble «Play, Accordion»— noted in the press service of the museum-reserve.

Especially for children, an animation program «Easter fun» has been prepared. Young guests will be able to take part in master classes on making soft toys, handicrafts made of wood and bast, modeling from Diveyevo clay and on a potter’s wheel, creating themed magnets and stone mosaics, weaving bracelets from beads and painting gingerbread.

On the night of April 15-16, the entrance to the territory of the museum-reserve will be carried out through the central gate.
