An effective tool to strengthen the material and technical base of republican sports schools and improve the quality of training of the sports reserve for the national teams of the Crimea is the supply of sports equipment and inventory within the framework of the regional project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”. One of the regional sports schools that received state support this year is the State Budgetary Institution of Additional Education of the Republic of Crimea “Sports School No. 8”.
For the preparation and participation of students in all-Russian and international competitions, the following items were purchased: a training barbell (100 kg), electronic scales (up to 150 kg), sports weights (16 kg, 24 kg, 32 kg) for a total amount of 0.103 million rubles.
The sports school employs 37 trainers and teachers. The number of students is 661 people. The sports school has seven departments for sports: acrobatic rock and roll, boxing, kickboxing, taekwondo, trampolining, artistic gymnastics, aesthetic gymnastics.
The training process is carried out in 4 municipalities of the republic, located in the cities of Evpatoria, Simferopol, Kerch and Feodosia.
The purchase of necessary equipment this year is aimed at developing the sport of boxing. The training process in this area is carried out in Simferopol, the department employs 2 trainers and 39 students.
Every year, athletes actively participate in Crimean, All-Russian and international competitions.
The purchase of sports technological equipment for sports schools in Crimea, aimed at developing basic sports within the framework of the “Sport is the norm of life” project, will continue in 2024.
Without the availability of modern equipment, a higher level of training for athletes in their sport would simply be impossible. With the new sports equipment, sports school students will exercise more and achieve high sports results through regular training.
Every year, Russians’ interest in active physical activity is growing, more and more people are realizing the importance of sports in their lives. The regional project “Sport is the norm of life” allows creating additional conditions and motivation for residents of the region to engage in physical education and sports.
