Another «friend of Ukraine» has been identified in Sevastopol. For now he will pay a fine for discrediting the RF Armed Forces

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Sevastopol, based on police data, a local resident was fined 40 thousand rubles for publicly discrediting the Russian Army.

The Sevastopol police periodically identify, suppress and document various offenses of an extremist or other anti-state nature. Recently, during the monitoring of the Internet, the attention of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol was drawn to the page of one of the social network users who posted several publications in the public domain that discredited the use of the RF Armed Forces in a special military operation in Ukraine.

Despite the fact that the offender acted under a false name in the virtual space, law enforcement officers quickly identified the culprit and detained him. He turned out to be a 41-year-old local resident who confessed to the crime. The police drew up a report on the administrative offense against this citizen, as provided for in Article 20.3.3 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses «Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the purpose of protecting the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintaining international peace and security.»— the Sevastopol Department of Internal Affairs reported.

By the decision of the Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol, the violator was given an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of forty thousand rubles. The judicial act has entered into legal force.

In order to combat such violations, the Sevastopol police urge citizens to immediately report to the nearest territorial body of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs if they find posts on the Internet that discredit the Russian Army or display Nazi paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organizations, or call for the violation of the territorial integrity of our state or any other illegal acts. If you notice people shouting extremist slogans in public places, you must remember the signs of the offenders and immediately call the police at 102.
