Applications for the Republican Competition «Crimean Souvenir» were submitted by 54 craftsman masters

This competition is primarily about people and for people. Each of the masters not only puts his soul into his souvenir, but also seeks to preserve and convey the cultural and national heritage of Crimea. This competition is a great opportunity to show your works to a wide audience and get recognition. It is important that traditions and skill do not fade away, but develop and transmit from generation to generation. We can say that the history of Crimea with its richest potential is happening in the hands of our masters,-quoted the press service of the minister.

According to the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of the Republic of Resorts and Tourism Crimea Roman Tikhonchuk, the competition is designed to systematize and popularize the manual labor of artisans who transmit Crimean life, flavor and history of the peninsula in their works. These works will become a truly Crimean souvenir, which each guest will take with him to all regions of Russia.

The competition was established by the State Council of the Republic of Crimea at the initiative of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea and is carried out in order to promote the formation and development of the market of modern souvenir products, combining traditions and historical and cultural values ​​of the region; increase the range and improve the quality of souvenir products; identification of the best enterprises and masters creating souvenir products in the Republic of Crimea; development of the tourism potential of the Republic of Crimea.

Including presentations, in particular, the gastro -ovens that the peninsula is rich in contribution to the development of the Federal Project of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives “I will pass through Russia”, which at the beginning of the year included the Republic of Crimea in order to develop a gastronomic industry, the development and promotion of new types of tourist products.
