April 11 — Constitution Day of the Republic of Crimea

This holiday unites us, recalls the values ​​of freedom and democracy, justice and equality, patriotism and mutual respect that we together defended in 2014.

It is these values ​​that are reflected in our constitution. It is they who are the foundation of the development of Russian Crimea that underlie all transformations in all areas of life.

The Constitution defines our republic as a democratic, legal and social state within the Russian Federation. It provides all peoples living on Crimean land, equal rights to preserve and free development of national languages, cultures and traditions, guarantees freedom of activity of public associations, ensures ideological and political diversity, as well as a wide range of social support measures.

The foundations of our unity are love for Russia and responsibility for the fate of the Fatherland, the traditions of ancestors and respect for each other.
